Kahe Naa Kahe was an Indian soap opera produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms. It was telecast on channel 9X. Kahe Naa Kahe is the story of Kinjal, an ordinary small-town girl with extraordinary dreams.

Kahe Naa Kahe is an engrossing drama series created by the Czarina of prime-time Indian television, Ekta Kapoor. The show marked the launch of 9X’s prime time programming on November 12, 2007.
Like other girls her age, Kinjal dreams of love and marriage, but with a big difference. She wants a career first. Kinjal’s progressive mother Urmila is aware of her daughter’s dreams, and gives her unending support. Kinjal has four brothers, and a father who thinks that while his four sons can do no good, his daughter can do no wrong.
When faced with financial problems, Kinjal goes against his wishes and starts working in a marriage bureau. Her father is unaware of this. Kinjal's best friend is Neena who is a model. Despite having different dreams and ambitions, Kinjal and Neena are best friends and they hold on their friendship tightly.
Kanav is the son of a big businessman who is very arrogant. Kanav hates his father from the bottom of his heart and makes a big fortune for himself by his own efforts.. The reason why Kanav hates his father is because the latter betrayed Kanav's mother, his first wife, and married her younger sister.
Kinjal's father comes to know that Kinjal is working. He is angry about this but later everyone convinces him and he agrees with much difficulty. On the other hand, Neena meets Kanav and starts to fall in love with him though Kanav doesn't like her.
Kanav and Kinjal meet and have many unpleasant encounters. They start to hate each other. But destiny has made Kinjal for Kanav, and they accidentally get married though they don't know about it (Kanav puts accidentally vermilion on Kinjal and when they unintentionally take rounds of the fire on the festival of Lohri).
But what will happen when Neena come to know her best friend married her love? Will she know the entire truth or will she misunderstand her? Above all, will Kinjal and Kanav fall in love?
Kinjal - The only and youngest girl in the family of four siblings, she is all set to make her career in the city of Mumbai that makes dreams come true. The apple of her father’s eye, she goes against his wishes to pursue her career in order to bring some extra income to sustain her family. A charming and down–to-earth girl, she radiates a bubbly simplicity. She puts her family before her needs and wants to ensure that they all are happy.
Sudhir (Kinjal’s father) - A man of dignity and honour, Sudhir has brought up his kids with strong values. With his roots being deeply entrenched in his village, he is against moving to big cities as he feels that people change and forget their backgrounds. He is happy at being able to keep his family united and under his loving protection.
Urmila (Kinjal’s mother) - A mother that any young girl would love to have, Urmila is a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. She keeps herself in tune to the modern world, while simultaneously respecting her husband’s traditional thinking. A typical mother, she loves to gossip and is a housewife cum working mom.
Neena - One of Kinjal's closest friends and confidantes. An aspiring model, Neena is looking for instant fame and success, making it big in the world of glamour. She wants to get married to a wealthy man in order to fulfill all her dreams.
Kanav - The only child of his parents, Kanav is a spoilt brat. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he only aspires to make more and more money. Though he despises his dad, he has a great relationship with his mother and will do anything to keep her happy.
After 5-6 months without much success, the show was pulled off the air due to very low TRP's. It was replaced by Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki, another soap from the same production house.
